Important Information

By making a reservation and staying at the Ras Kikadini Beach House, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. It is recommended that you carefully review the specific terms and conditions provided at the time of booking:

  • Reservation Confirmation: Your reservation is considered confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation email, SMS, or written confirmation from the property. Please review all details for accuracy. Advance payment of 50% is required to secure the house for your chosen dates. Balance is due 1 week before arrival.In the event of any breakages damages and missing items this will be charged to the guest. Guests are required to email us all names of persons 18 years + with a copy of their ID according to Kenya law and regulation.

  • Minimum 3 nights required all year round. Minimum 7 nights required between 16 Dec - 16 Jan.

  • Check-in and Check-out Times:

Check-in time is typically between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM

Check-out time is typically between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.

  • Payment and Pricing:

Payment terms and pricing details will be outlined in your booking invoice.

Rates are subject to change based on availability and the property owner/manager's discretion.

Taxes, cleaning fees, security deposits, and other charges may apply and will be specified in your booking.

  • Please make sure you have adequate health and travel insurance - Living the Dream ltd accepts no liability for any loss of belongings, damage to properties, injuries or death at the premises. We accept no responsibility for interruptions in your travel plans INCLUDING COVID RELATED ISSUE that might cause you to cancel.

  • Cancellation and Modification Policy:

Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of a portion or all of your booking fee.

  • Security Deposit: We may require a security deposit to cover potential damages or additional cleaning expenses. This deposit is typically refunded after your stay, provided there are no issues.

  • Occupancy Limits: Adhere to the maximum occupancy limits set by the property owner/manager. Exceeding these limits may result in eviction without a refund.

  • Pets: Please enquire about our pet policy.

  • Smoking Policy: Smoking may result in additional cleaning fees. Please do not smoke near the roof thatch and be extremely careful in dry seasons. Please use bins and ashtrays provided to throw your butts.

  • Guest Behavior: Respect the property and its neighbors. Disruptive behavior or violation of house rules may result in eviction without a refund.

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: House keeping is included in the rate. Laundry is available PLEASE PROVIDE WASHING POWDER. Guests are responsible for basic personal hygene cleaning during their stay.

  • Equipment and Amenities: Use property amenities and equipment responsibly. Any damage to these items may result in charges.

  • Privacy: The property owner/manager will handle your personal information in accordance with their privacy policy. By providing your information, you consent to its use for reservation and communication purposes.

  • Termination of Stay: The property owner/manager may terminate your stay for reasons including but not limited to non-payment, violation of policies, or disruptive behavior.

  • Complaints: Report any issues or concerns to the property owner/manager promptly to allow them the opportunity to address and resolve them.

  • Utilities and Services: Understand the property's policies regarding utilities, such as electricity, water, generator and internet services. You can find the information in the welcome guest book.

  • Safety and Security: Familiarise yourself with emergency procedures and safety features in the property. Be responsible for your safety. Please report any suspicious activity. There is a hospital less than 45mins away however guests are advised to bring their own certified medical first aid kit to prepare for such circumstances.
